When we began our partnership with The Guardian News and Media we had to clearly define what they wanted, and how we could achieve it.
After learning more about the leadership team and understanding their challenges we built an 18 month roadmap to meet key business objectives and drive positive change across the commercial business.
A GMG programme to deliver new revenue streams and become operationally efficient and leverage technology to generate new revenue streams (digital, ad revenue) within 5 years
Refresh the end-to-end technology estate for digital and paper subscriptions
Migration of all global subscriptions to the new technology estate

Outcome
During our partnership, we worked closely with the Guardian team learning their business inside and out.
By the end of the project, this is what we accomplished:
Successfully implemented a new technology estate for all Guardian subscriptions
Remove legacy suppliers, technology, and processes
Embed new ways of working across the commercial business
Introduce a new Advertising Media Sales Platform
The Guardian has reported growth YOY since the launch of Touchpoint, and in July 2022 announced revenues were up by 13% and GMG has recorded its strongest results since 2018
Although an already established brand the Guardian partnered with us to ensure continued growth and to improve their digital processes.
